We hade 4 fighters representing our Club in the Shin Do Kumate XII. Shindo is the number one Muay Thai Promotion in North America and it was a pleasure for us to be part of this card with Full Muay Thai rules in place. This Show was aired Live on PPV all across Canada and USA.

The first in the ring for the night representing us was Mukai "The African Warrior" Maromo vs. Justin Greskiewicz of Cool Hearts Muay Thai in Philadelphia. This fight was an all out war in the Middleweight division. Greskiewicz was trying to keep his distance and use his good low kicks while Maromo was using his hands, speed and power to get into the clinch and rain effective elbows on his opponent. Maromo opened up a nasty cut over Greskiewicz's left eye with an elbow that streamed blood for the rest of the fight. To his credit, Greskiewicz never backed down, but kept fighting forward against the more powerful opponent. The African Warrior came away with the unanimous decision win.

First step in the ring Shane vs. Michael, this was a fight between two young but very talented fighters, maybe the future in the division for the years to come. Bout fighters come in strong throwing very nice technics at each other, Michael scoring a beautiful high kick, Shane caching Michael with a few solid knees to the body. Shortly after the first minute of the fight bout fighters start using there elbows and Shane landed the one that put an end of the fight rewording Campbell with a TKO victory. This was first time for Shane that he fought at 147.8 lbs and it was a double challenge for him in kating down to 147 lbs and fighting the best fighter he meet in his Muay Thai Career. In the Main Event of the "Battle of the Heavyweights" Samir fought tow to tow with one of the best K-1 fighters in Europe. This fight was a good one, Samir scoring with a lot of knee's and Gary throwing good punches combinations. At the end of the three rounds Gary Turner won by UD. Muay Thai
Instructed by Kru Alin Halmagean

Muaythai is the devestating "science of 8 limbs" from Thailand developed over 1000's of years. The exact date of the creation of this fighting art is not known but it is widely believed to be over 2000 years old. Many other martial arts are believed to be this ancient though many of them were only created in the last 100 years (Aikido, Taekwondo, Karate).

Muaythai used to be referred to as Pahuyuth (multi-faceted fighting style) a couple of hundred years ago, but muaythai itself is only a part of the whole Thai fighting system that covers weapons and groundwork which many refer to as Ling-Lom, though this is not the correct name for it. Many people do not know about this "no holds barred" of muaythai and there are very few people that can teach it.
